1. What is the purpose of using MMC card with on-line unit?
»You can transfer the information without using the GSM/GPRS network.

2. Is backup battery used in the box either chargeable or not?
» Yes, there is a standard rechargeable battery, used by Nokia mobile phones.

3. Does the unit have ADC (analogue/digital converter)?
» No, there is no ADC in the unit.

4. Does the unit have output ports to drive some external controls?
» No, there are no such ports.

5. Do you provide some sensors like fuel, temp etc.?
» Yes, we provide sensors according to customer’s request.

6. How many bits does the unit use while sending minimum location data (position, speed, course, time)?
» The unit is using standard data packet – 64 bytes.

7. Can we use the unit for logistic purposes that are using barcode reader, printer, PDA, etc.?
» Yes, we have firmware version with transparent data channel for external devices.

8. Do you have SDK (software development kits)?
» No, so far we do not provide SDK for our device. We supply it with preprogrammed firmware.

9. Can we program the Time-intervals ourselves or are they pre-set?
» Depending on the designation: if the Time/distance intervals are for the internal memory, then set up is performed using connection to PC or MMC; if intervals for sending messages have to be set up, then PC, MMC or GSM network may be used.

10. GPS-time is standard, but is it possible to pre-set a time as well?
» No, it is not possible

11. Does the speed calculated by GPS is standard?
» Speed value comes from the GPS system. For more accurate measurements, sensors have to be installed.

12. Speaking about the Track Central software, are its features Track and Trace only or SMS is available as well?
» The software package allows users to view route, speed and other requested parameters of the vehicle. It has three editions: Standard (off-line), Professional and Enterprise (client/server for using up to five workstations).

13. Does Daisy provide an engine start block in combination with driver ID?
» No, it is not a supported feature.

14. Does the Track Central contain a geo-fence module?
» Yes, it does.

15. Is it possible to install a crash-sensor to give a fully automated crash-alarm?
» Yes, it is possible.

16. How long does it take to install the hardware?
» It takes between 1 and 2 hours, depending on the requirements of installation.

17. What is Daisy’s warranty and software update policy?
» Warranty period is 12 months, including free update during that time.

18. Is it possible to send us hardware architecture with block diagram?
» We are not sending the hardware architecture.
